We hope you are all staying safe and well.

Following the latest government announcement, as we move out of a second national lockdown as of 02.12.2020, our local area has been placed into tier 3 as part of the new government tier system.

Here is what this will mean for DW Windows and our customers:

  • The government has confirmed that all tradespeople will still be allowed to work and enter customers’ homes providing they continue to follow COVID-19 safety precautions. DW Windows is a COVID-19 secure business. We have had our specific risk assessment & training in place since May which continues to be regularly reviewed and kept up to date.  We will always ensure we are adhering to the precautions and guidelines as laid out by the government. View our COVID-19 Secure Certification here.
  • We understand that some customers may be hesitant about allowing us into their homes at this time. Please be reassured that we are taking all of the necessary precautions and will do so throughout the time we are in your home. The safety and peace of mind of our customers is paramount.
  • Unfortunately, our Brick Street and Stafford showrooms will be closed until 04.01.2021 to members of the public. However, we are pleased to say our Meadow Lane showroom will be open and adhering to all government guidelines to ensure maximum safety for our customers.
  • We can, under social distancing guidelines, continue to carry out sales appointments and surveys, as well as installations, in customer’s homes.

Lockdown Showroom Clarification

Our Stafford road and Brick Street showrooms are CLOSED until 04.01.2021

Our Meadow Lane showroom is OPEN and adhering to all government guidelines

Our Head office is Operating but CLOSED to the public (except for essential visitors)

Our Sales Department is OPEN for quotes.

Our Operations Department is OPEN for installations.

If a customer calls in and asks if the showroom is open then advise that it is open only for ESSENTIAL visits on an appointment basis only.

As always we want to do our very best for the customer and DW, therefore always offer a home appointment, remote quotes via phone, or video if the customer prefers this. Book any REMOTE quotes onto the calendar for a rep on showroom duty. Always putting the customer first.

Risk assessment and risk reduction.

  • All visitors to report to reception
  • Only 1 family / group allowed in at any one time, others will have to wait in car.
  • Only 2 people allowed in per group
  • Visitors must wear a face covering – Keep their distance – Sanitise in and out of the building.

If a customer arrives without an appointment they can enter as long as we follow the above.

(Customer decides if their visit is essential – This ensures we are adhering to the stay home message under the current lockdown rules)
