Job Overview:
Due to continued growth we are recruiting a Full Time Operations Support Assistant to work in our busy Operations Team.
Hours – 7.15am-4.00pm Mon – Fri 41.25 hours per week (flexibility required).
Location:
8 Meadow Lane Coseley WV14 9NQ.
Role:
Our aim is to complete all installations on time, to a high standard with a “right first time” approach. Our Operations Support Team are desk based supporting our surveyors, installers and service engineers to make this happen.
Our Operations Department consists of:
- Planning Dept
- Live Installations Dept
- Aftersales Dept
This role will be working in one of these departments (depending on skills) with a view to being trained in all three.
This role involves liaising with customers, installers, surveyors and suppliers sometimes dealing with challenges therefore a decision maker level with a level of maturity and responsibility is required.
Requirements:
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and able to make logical decisions while following company processes.
- Willing and able to learn about our products from a manufacturing perspective, so a great learner with attention to detail required.
- The candidate must be an organised individual who possesses strong communication skills.
- Must have experience of using a CRM system and have excellent written communication.
- An excellent confident telephone manner is essential.
- Proven work experience within a busy operations office or similar role ideally in double glazing or construction is preferred.
- A team player with a positive attitude.
- Competent multitasker and holds excellent IT skills.
Duties:
🔺 Supporting the Operations Co-Ordinator in planning & co-ordinating all installations, this will mean liaising with installers to support them with live installations.
🔺 Supporting the Operations Co-Ordinator in co-ordinating all aftersales calls, this will mean liaising with the service engineers to support them with in-guarantee calls.
🔺 Ensuring installations are ready and all information and stock is ready for the fitting teams with clear and transparent instructions.
🔺 Ordering products from suppliers.
🔺 Working closely with the warehouse team to ensure deliveries have been received and in time for installations.
🔺 Liaising with customers to ensure that the install is completed to full satisfaction.
🔺 Provide an excellent level of customer service and influence the wider team to achieve the same.
